Portland Oregon B&Bs

Had a chance to tour B&Bs in Portland Oregon last spring, before heading to the Oregon B&B Guild Conference in beautiful Hood River. The historic Irvington neighborhood has lots of great restaurants and shops, beautiful trees and lots of flowers. It's also home to several handsome and homey B&Bs.  Portland's White House is a great place to start. If you think that B&Bs are just about fussy decor and furnishings that are more attique than antique, go directly to Portland's White House.Portland's White House, Portland, OR
From the genuine antiques and original artwork to the original Tiffany stained glass windows, this amazing mansion combines charm and comfort with elegance and hospitality. Great location in a beautiful residential neighborhood too.  Other good choices in the same neighborhood, each with their own signature style, are the
Lion and the Rose, A Painted Lady and the Blue Plum Inn.  In another part of town is The Fulton House, with exceptionally friendly owners, lots of space to relax inside and out, and an appealing location just one block from the river and the Willamette Waterfront Greenway. The Lion and the Rose B&B offers a stately choice in a beautiful residential section of Portland.
