"A Norfolk Delight"
The Manor House is a delightful bed and breakfast in the Berkshires. The home is beautiful, comfortable and quiet and nestled into a beautiful property. Nearby are hiking and ski trails, lovely shops and restaurants, Infinity Music Hall, and countless other treasure troves. Kathy and Kurt and the perfect innkeepers...warm and hospitable with a desire to please, yet in tune with the needs of guests who want some peace and quiet...simply perfect!! And their breakfasts are delicious! I highly recommend a weekend getaway to this lovely home away from home.

The inn is only minutes away from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos. Every room has an ensuite bath and fireplace. Guests are free to explore the acres of vineyards.

A Wonderful Pre-Christmas Romantic Weekend
"I took my wife to the Fitch Claremont House for a romantic weekend getaway. Nora and Warren, the innkeepers, had their home, including our room, decorated for Christmas and it was absolutely beautiful! We couldn't have asked for more hospitable, friendly folks for our hosts! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the breakfasts that Nora served were exceptional! The complimentary bottle of wine which Warren makes himself from the vineyards surrounding the property was superb! We went on the Lantern Tour at Mystic Seaport late Saturday evening, and the [innkeepers] were most helpful in recommending multiple places for fine dining in and around Mystic. Overall, this was one of the more positive B&B experiences we have had, and we are already planning on returning next year! I would recommend the Fitch Claremont House to anyone who is planning on spending time in the area."

"Memorable Experience"
What an extraordinary experience! The inn itself is magnificent. Victorian décor doesn’t usually resonate with me, but the Mountain View is infused with such artistry and taste that it took my breath away. Every detail of design and comfort was thought of. Breakfast was a feast. However, the crowning jewels of the inn are the charming innkeepers themselves. From the moment we walked in the door they set a tone of informal grace and warmth. They generously shared their wealth of knowledge about the area, its history and possibilities. We’ll return again just for the fascinating conversation!
