This sweet recipe comes from The Empress of Little Rock, a luxurious B&B in Little Rock, Arkansas. This stunning Victorian property was built in 1888 and restored in 1995, though it maintains its elegant Victorian atmosphere.

Serves: Makes approximately 100 cookies, but may be halved

Ingredients:
- 2 cups butter
- 4 cups flour
- 24 oz. chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 cups oatmeal, blended
- 8 oz. Hershey Bar, grated
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Steps:
1. Measure oatmeal, blend in a blender until fine powder. Set aside.
2. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey bar, and nuts.
4. Roll into balls and place 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes at 375F degrees.
