Undiscovered gem on Maine Coast

I've just stumbled upon the Newagen Seaside Inn on the tip of Southport Island, near Boothbay Harbor. It's a quintessential New England rambling inn, with plenty for our family to do. We're on a week-long sailing trip, and beyond guest rooms, this inn also offers moorings to traveling yachts. The $50 mooring fee includes breakfast for the family, so I guess you could say this is truly a boat and breakfast! The grounds are spacious, offering a lovely seaside pool, lawn games, a playground, and the hit for my seven- and nine-year-olds, a game room with candlepin bowling. The setting is as Maine coastal as you can get, and now that the fog has lifted, we're in for a fabulous day and a nice break from sailing.
