Ever considered a career change and thought owning a B&B might be the perfect small business? Come learn from seven Ludington, MI innkeepers while enjoying a getaway at the same time. The Ludington Historic Bed and Breakfast Association, with seven historic B&B's, all within walking distance of one another along Ludington Avenue, are hosting two workshops for aspiring innkeepers. Throughout the weekend, attendees will speak with all of the innkeepers, and tour all seven inns to experience the uniqueness of each, from a charming one room Ludington Michigan bed and breakfast to a historical eight room bed and breakfast. Take your pick for two scheduled workshops: April 30-May 2, 2010 and November 5 - 7, 2010.
It all starts on Friday evening. After settling in, enjoy a wine and cheese reception and begin the networking right away. Meet and greet other aspiring innkeepers along with a diverse group of innkeepers representing seven different inns. This reception is sponsored by http://www.innbroker.com and the Ludington Historic Bed and Breakfast Association. On Saturday after your breakfast here, three B&Bs will be open for you to tour and ask all of your important questions, at your own pace from 10:00am until 1:00pm. Four more inns are open from 2:00pm until 5:00pm. The evening is all yours to enjoy. On Sunday, enjoy another beautiful breakfast, and ask those extra questions before heading back home.
Simply select your favorite room at the any of the member inns for two nights at the regular rate, make your reservations in advance, and you are all set. There is no additional cost for the tours and innkeepers reception. Experiencing different inns and networking with different innkeepers is the best way to aquaint yourself with the innkeeping profession.
