Casa do Valle is in the historic center of Sintra, Portugal, yet provides a peaceful getaway. The guest house is a 10-minute walk from restaurants and monuments. Casa do Valle is also close to public transportation, which can take you to beaches, Lisbon, and Cascais & Estoril.
The inn sits on a large garden and has a swimming pool that overlooks the valley (pictured below). There are many nooks where you can relax, sunbathe, read a book, have a glass of wine, or take a nap. It has the perfect mix of a great location and quiet retreat.
